A couple of interesting results here. Most notably the fact U2 won nothing even though they had 3 nominations! How Snow Patrol got best Irish band and The Script best Irish performance above U2 is beyond me! However delighted that Leonard Cohen got best international performance.

Delighted Wallis won as well, she really deserved it. Saw her twice last year and she is such a fantastic performer, really puts her heart and soul into the music. Got chatting to her after seeing her in Dolan's in Limerick, and she has a lovely personality as well... pure down to earth!!
Tbh, haven't even heard of Shona Ryan.......

And as for Westlife winning the same award 10years in a row? ffs..... Made me want to throw my cup of tea through the TV screen:mad:

I met her at her album launch in Tower Records and after the show, she's a good laugh on stage too. New Boots is such a good album!


I didnt care abt best regional DJ, just didnt want her to win cos she kept showin up EVERYWHERE, TELLING people to vote for her. Tramp
