My parents got one as well, but I didn't. When you put in the code it fixes the address on the application. With the code the line rental is €0.00 without it its €25.

I got a line reactived a few months ago when they were doing free activations so I guess they will say my line has not been inactive for the last 12 months and therefore I wouldn't qualify.

    Feck this.

What about the poor schmos who've been paying the line rental all this time!

Is this applicable for new customers (new build)?

Is there any other way to get line rental like from eircom?

My line is empty and how can I get broadband and phone not from eircom?

AFAIK they will just charge you a fee to activate it. You can then choose who you want.
