Folks, looking for some advice/ personal experience here. My sister (who used to be a hairdresser), dyed my hair red at the weekend. I picked out the colour, and it seems to be a really garish shade, kinda pink looking.
I tried going over it with a brown dye, but it didnt help. Stuck to wearing hairbands, as the roots are the worst thing.
Have used head and shoulders, to try to wash some of the colour out.
Debating whether to just live with it for a few weeks, as I really dont want to have a hairdresser strip it. I also dont want to tell my sister, and ask her to fix it, as I dont really want to hurt her feelings!

Maybe try a Henna Colour? What dye did you go over it with? Im pretty sure if you get a chestnut brown dye from boots it should cover it.

Did you bleach the hair under the red?
