New HD Box not pairing???

    I took the plunge and upgraded to SKY+ HD. I'm already subscribed to SKY+, Movies, Sport & multi-room.

    My multi-room box was a standard box so I wanted that replaced with the new HD box, meaning that I could keep my old SKY+ box in the other room.

    The installer did a great job, fast & neat. When he contacted SKY to change my subscription type, I noticed that he was being passed from one agent to another, had to ring a few different numbers & generally seemed to be having a problem getting my system set up.

    Eventually he said that everything was fine & that my subscription was being updated as well as my SKY card & the HD box being "paired". He explained that this might take an hour or so.

    That was 5 hours ago & I'm still getting the message "This is the wrong card for the set top box" when I try my Sports or Movies channels.

    Anyone got a clue as to what's going on???

    Gave up waiting...A quick call to SKY and it was set up in seconds... :)

    Even though you already have it set up and running. But for future references Sky do say that when manually pairing a card to a box it takes 2 mins to 4 hours and in most cases 10 to 24 hours.
