Crazy question I know but when do I fill out my B1 annual return form? Company registered in November but only getting it up and running now.

    Thanks,

If the company was registered in November 2009 you will be due to lodge your first B1 in April/May 2010. 6 months after incorporation you are not required to submit accounts with this return as it is the first return. Check your companies ARD here

    hope this helps

So following on from my post above... I think I got a little confused.

I registered my Business name in November of last year and am operating as a sole trader. Therefore I dont have a company number so does this mean I dont fill out a B1? I have filled out my TR1 so do I just declare my income in October of this year sending along statements, invoices etc?

    Many thanks,

    LoGiE

You dont need to file a B1 if your a sole trader. Depending on when exactly you registered your self as a sole trader and what your accounts year in end is you will pay and file your pleminary tax this year. You dont send off any invoices or statements unless they come back looking for some.
