Apologies if I have this in the wrong forum. Mate of mine is looking for a venue around the city centre area to hold his 40th Birthday Bash, around 80 people attending, band and dj playing, bar extension. Anybody with any ideas would be much appreciated.

What city? I can move this thread to the relevant regional forum then, you might get better answers.

The Clarendon have a nice room upstairs or Jack Nealons on Capel Street. Not sure if they will have bar extensions though, I was at one in Wynn's Hotel recently that wasn't bad.
