Ryanair flight-how to claim for Gov tax back etc.

HI,
Ryanair flight booked but I'm not flying. Ryanair say I can only claim back the Governmenet fee.
1. I understand that I can't claim back the Fare but I also lose my checked in bag?
2. Does anyone know how much the 'admin charge' is for claiming the Gov tax back. At least if I knew this then I'd know if it's worth bothering to try to claim it back.
3. Does anyone have an e-mail address or postal address where I can make my claim, I can't find it on the website.
4. If I wanted to change flight dates and named person I presume that it'll just end up not worth it with charges?
