PGCE in UK

    Hi there

I am currently doing a PGCE in secondary school teaching in Swansea. I was hoping to return to Ireland after this year but to gain full recognition as a teacher in the UK you have to do an NQT (newly qualified teacher) year. I was wondering if I could do the equivalent in Ireland without having to stay on in the UK for one more year?

    thanks
    Edel
