    Hey folks,

Can someone explain swim plans to me?

For example, what does the following mean?

    400 Warm-Up
    4 x 200 Pull @ 3:00
    4 x 200 @ 2:55
    200 Warm Down

Does it mean do the 4 x 200 pull in 3 mins? Or is it 3 mins rest? Or something else?

Apologies if this is a silly question.

    Cheers,

    NT

The @3:00 means the interval you do the swim on. If it takes you 2:30 to swim the 200m you get 30 secs rest if it takes you 2:55 you only get 5 secs rest! So the 4 x 200 pull @3:00 will take 12 mins total. 3:00 is a fast-ish pace for 200m.

Quick question, does "4 x 200 pull" mean 4 x 200 using the pull bouy?
