I was just about to post the same thing as you!

I had an interview with them also recently and I'm not sure about something there. The job and company itself seem to be OK, but just their "HR department" - I'm not calling it a proper HR department as it seems to be just one woman who is also talking calls / working on the floor.

After my initial call she said she'd call me back to arrange an interview time - no call so I followed up. After the interview (sat in a room for 30mins waiting, then had a 5 min interview) she said she'd call me that evening to arrange a start time (as she wanted me to start the next day) - no call so I followed up. Then she said she hadn't a chance to look over everyone so will call me soon.....I see a pattern here....

I'm always dubious about a company who don't call when they say they will and if the interview is VERY short. I'm thinking one of two things:

    1. As they are an outsourcing company, they may be waiting for new contracts to come in before they can hire people. i.e CV harvesting to have people on file ready to start once they get the jobs.

    2. They're terribly understaffed and don't have time to get round to it.

What was your experience with them so far interview wise?

I think you might be on to something. The first thing that struck me as strange was that after I sent in my CV I got an email asking me to ring the HR person. That's never happened before! My interview was also only five minutes long. I was told a decision would be made about all candidates once CVs were reviewed later in the week and that the person might not begin work for another week after that. Your no. 2 suggestion there seems quite likely. I'll update if I hear anything else.

I think you may have been going for one of the other positions advertised (they have quite a few with different start times) as I got the impression they needed someone for mine straight away - as she asked me to start the next day.

I'll let you know if I hear anything too....lol I think i'll leave it until next week before I call her again, I'm starting to feel like a stalker! In the meantime, I'm just looking for something else because I'm not holding out for this one even though the hours suit me perfectly. :(

Didn't hear anything and I don't expect to. To be honest, I think the HR/manager was a bit of a dragon and would probably be a real pain so..brightside looked for : ) Hope things go well for you.
