    Hi everyone
For some reason t-shirts/vest/tank tops are always too short on me. They always end right at my jeans and it makes me look bigger than I am.
I think the tops in these country are all designed for dwarves!
Is there anywhere that I can get casual tops that will go down further than my belt? I don't mean smock tops, I mean just regular plain tops for wearing under a hoody etc.

Vero Moda do quite long tops.

I also love the longer lenght ones, they're much more flattering. I buy them in H&M, Topshop or New Look. The ones in the tall section in new look will have a loose fit around your arm so stick to the normal ones. They're in fashion now so you'll be able to get them in any colour.

Also Bershka are my fave to buy them in. From €3.99 for any colour and you can get string tops, tank tops, t shirts and three quarter lenght sleeve ones.

    Happy shopping!

I think either Next or Topshop do longer length ones, I remember a friend saying it before.

Failing that, I got nice 3/4 length sleeved ones in Penneys - white, grey and black. Think there was red also. They're quite long - and they don't rise up when you reach for things! :D

I got all of my longer length ones in dunnes and river island!!! There not marked longer length but you can see they are definatley longer than the usual size...have the same problem!!

They have them in pretty much every colour and are only 4 euro in dunnes!!

a-wear do a longer length vest so what i've been doing is wearing them under my regular t-shirts.

i have same problem & it is so annoying!! I find its because of my chest that they don't reach down far enough.

Penny's are doing long sleeve tops in every colour under the sun & they are stretchy & longer in length than their normal range of stuff

I've the same problem as well, so I am definitely making a beeline to Pennys, thanks :-) A short t-shirt does nothing for me and I want something that would work with leggings and a long cardi.

    where is american apparel?

the penny's tops are just about long enough to wear with leggings but id be bit insecure about wearing em like that, but they are fab with jeans

i'd prefer something that bit longer so the vests from a-wear are great for that & then you can layer them

i do like vero moda but for longer length tees and vest tops (and ive a long back) you cant beat american eagle otufitters and abercrombie. i try to stock up if i go on hols to the US. but you can get these online too. loads of colours. go to the clearance section online on ae.com to get cheaper deals. conversion rates arent as good as they were a few weeks back though.

The longer length Vera Moda tops I find dont have a very flattering neckline on them.. Quite high! Berska ones are super... Except they dont wash fantastically after a few times but they are pretty cheap so dont feel bad replacing them :)

The only one I know of here is at the bottom of Grafton Street as you walk towards Trinity!

H n M strap tops (Im a size 1-/12 and I get a 16) Theyre not loose or anything, still fitted and nice and long, I wear them under everything really.

Also cant say Ive noticed the problem, the trend has been for long tanktops etc for the last few years - try Topshop
