If it says Eircom as the signal you are trying to connect to and you have BT, you could be picking up another persons signal (maybe your neighbours)??

Other than that, cant really help ya apart from make sure you spell the WEP key right, sooooooo many times I have got it wrong and my router has thrown a fit.

sounds like youre connecting to the wrong wireless network, search for a wireless ssid and look for something like bt and then enter your password.

Can you get a laptop or pc on the wireless?

you don't have to mess with it but you can check the key by opening up a browser on your laptop or desktop pc while connected and typing 192.168.1.1 and when asked for the password type 1234 or admin , the routers configuration settings can be seen including your wpa or wep key. do you have anything that is already connected to the router wirelessly? are you with bt or eircom ? your ps3 might not be seeing your routers ssid or signature. the eircom one your ps3 is picking up could be the neighbours.

try this link for instructions on how to set up your wireless settings for your specific modem:

    best of luck

Could you get a cable to the PS3 aswell ????..a better gaming experience when wired connection 'v' wireless .Also a lot easier to configure .

    If not (altrnative):
Can you move the router to the PS3 , then get the PC on a wireless connection
Also a lot easier to configure .

Glad to here , much better setup ... Your PS3 Internet connection and gaming are alot stablier when wired , you will get away with your PC wireless alot more than your PS3.
