Spelga Dam is just over the border near Newry. It's nice around there.

Slieve Gullion has a lovely route around it called the "forest drive", have a pic of it at home I'll attach later. It's a ~14km circuit near the town of Meigh just over the border, surface is decent, views are great, and there's a couple of savage slopes on it. I've run it a handful of times and cycled it twice, really nice place. Not long enough on its own obviously (we cycled up from Dublin), but since you're in the area anyway I'd definitely include it on a spin. If I was local I'd be training there a couple times a week.

I'll do you up a few on thursday if you check back then. What sort of length do you want to do?

The climb up to the aerial on Clermont Cairn is a beast. The north side is one of the hardest climbs in leinster.

Forgot to post these last night. Red dot on the google maps version corresponds to the "YOU ARE HERE" on the sign.
