Hiring a vintage mini?

    Hi I'm wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to hire a vintage mini for a day? It's for a wedding in Galway where the bride and groom want to drive themselves to the wedding.

    Try the irish mini club www.irishminis.ie/ . the contact details for the western area should be there somewhere. If you have no luck then google "galway mini centre", he may be able to help. By the way it would probably work out easier to "borrow" the car for the day and transfer their own insurance rather than officialy hire it.

    The best place to contact is IMHO the Western Mini Owners Club. http://westernminis.com, they're a relatively new club, but have a good membership quota in the area. Tom Cussen is one of the organisers there who'll be happy to help you out - he runs the National Mini Day in Clarinbridge.
