First Single or Album You Bought? First Cinema Experience?

What's the First Single (CD or Cassette) you bought for yourself? First Movie (VHS, Betamax or DVD) you rented for yourself? First film you seen at the cinema?

Gifts or other people Renting for you don't count & Downloads don't count.

    Why?

Well, if 'Gifts' & other people Renting were allowed it be Zig & Zag and Barney vids and Postman singles.

If 'Downloads' were allowed it be all porn.

    Single

When I was 9 (1982) I bought Captain Sensible's Happy Talk Single on Vinyl 45.

    Album

First Album I bought Billy Idol's Rebel Yell (1983).

    Cinema

Was brought to see Superman in 1978. Best day ever, I was 5 :)

Any chance of getting this thread moved back to After Hours?

It's not a Cool Vids thread.

People can (and are) posting what their first Singles, Albums and Cinema Experiences were without posting videos.

Can't see why it was moved to be fair.

Great film to see at the cinema.
