Where have you looked so far OP? I've noticed that you have been chatting about them for a while now so I assume you've priced up a few sites?

I take it you are aware of the VAG sat nav forum that has a serious amount of info on them?

I looked on Ebay, which seems to be the only place to buy one! there going for in and around 700 euro. My budget is max of 500euro

Regarding the installing, I couldnt do that myself, I see u need 2 adaptors etc so I was looking for someone who supplies and fits them or If I got lucky and got one on ebay and got it installed.

So I was hoping that someone might know of one going or know where i can get one in my budget

You'd be doing well to get a brand new one for that price, fitted.

Your best bet might be to look at some of the owner forums as there are group buying threads specifically aimed at getting discounts.

There are different prices depending on what version of firmware you get. Some have more functionality than others so therefore more expensive etc.

I have one for sale but are looking for a 100 more for it, with gps antenna and latest maps.

Why do you think you need adaptors, is uses the same plugs that are one the standard headunit ?
