    Evening all,

I 'm moving into an apt complex in a few weeks time and the only Cable company available is cable watch. Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of channels they offer and what the service is like? as their website is useless

    Thanks! ;)

Cablewatch is a small local cable company so you wouldn't have heard of them. Their basic package is about €21 a month (sorry can't remember the exact amount and they don't issue bills/receipts unless you request them!) for about 26 channels. That includes all the usual channels RTE1, RTE2, TV3, TG4, ITV1, ITV2, Ch4, E4, BBC1-4, Living, Sky One, Sky News, Ch5, Discovery, MTV, and VH1. Personally I am happy enough with the range of channels, although I know a lot of people would prefer to have a digital service offering (including a Sky+ or PVR option).

I also use Cablewatch for broadband and it's reliable enough although a bit slow. I've been meaning to look into other options but never get around to it! In total for TV and broadband it costs about €63 or €64 a month.
