The magpul ranger plates in the first link are designed to only work on Magpul PMags. They won't fit on an armalite mags.

that what i was thinking, i e-mailed firesupport and they said it would which i thought was strange.

so will the MAGPUL PTS Ranger be a direct fit ?

The ones in the second link will only work if you can remove the floor plate from the magazine. Not all mags have a removeable plate, G&P midcaps do and so do highcaps but you can't put ranger plates on high caps. If you can't use Ranger plates try some of these I use them and they're great:)

They also work a lot better. Ranger plates looks cool, but their not the easiest thing to grip when your trying to pull them from the pouch.:)

Some ranger plates come with a slot in them for the wheel of a hicap, I got some from Eirsoft last year, or was it the year before.. can't remember now but there is a version that works with hicaps.
