    Alright deal, no bargain though

11.6" is decent for a netbook i guess but some would be put off by the lack of windows 7 starter, which a lot of netbooks have now, Interesting this has an atom Z520 processor rather than an N series atom processor like most netbooks, what would be the implications of that, thought the Z series atom chips was for MID's rather than netbooks

The Z520 wouldn't be as powerful as the N270, but in reality, the word "power" and both of those processors don't really go together anyway.
I think i would steer clear of this one, simply because of the processor and the GMA 500 integrated graphics, it doesn't get much worse really.

There are no major implications by using a Z series Atom CPU over an N series, at the same processor speed, as the TDP, feature set and speed are practically identical. With that said, the Z520 used in the Asus netbook does have a lower TDP and slower speed than the N270 generally used in similar spec'd netbooks.

You can compare the difference in more detail here
