Anyone had to get a wrap on their van? I’m looking into getting one done.
What sort of money are you talking for a Renault Kangoo?
Any recommendations as to where to go?

    Thanks

I got mine done with adventure signs and they did a great job. Design and partial wrap for 675. I think a full wrap was about 2k

I have used this crowd in the past: http://signsasap.ie Despite looking for quotes all over the Dublin area, I haven't been able to find anyone with a more competitive quote for my particular needs. HTH

i got quotes from 2 places - one wanted 350 and the other 1850 for the same design.. so shop around! Not going with either as their response to quoting was far too long!!

Creative signs in Cellbrdge - chose them over the others as they sent a quote ASAP.

I used MSI signs in Newtownmountkennedy and they did a really good job.

I saw wild difference in quotations too. I think this is mainly down to the process used. A very complex image that needs to cover the whole van is going to cost in the order of 1.5k to 2k. However, if the graphics are relatively simply vector graphics and it is possible to do in vinyl, then it will cost a lot less (€300 to €500, perhaps).

Worth considering when asking for a quote, ask if it's possible to do in Vinyl. If budget it tight, it might also be worth considering making the graphics more simple to facilitate vinyl, where the image is basically build up from layers of different colour Vinyl which are physically cut out in the shape desired.

    Hope that helps

I'm dealing with Hugh at the moment.. rang around a few places and he was the only one to go into the different options etc. He's working on a few different designs at different price points for me now...

This may seem a tad pedantic but just wondering if anything needs to be changed on the ownership forms of the vehicles if you were to get a full vehicle wrap in a different colour to the vehicle?

Good question, technically the car is still the same colour under the wrap.. N if u where to sell it I assume the wrap would be removed. Question is, do u declare it to ur insurer? As a full wrap is generally over €1-1500, if a panel gets damaged the wrap is gonna have to be re-applied to that panel...
