Just reading teletext this morning, BA to open a plant in the uk producing aviation fuel from waste, aparantly they'll be able to produce 16 million gallons of fuel every year from 450,000 tonnes of waste material.
More than double BA's requirements for fuel outta London City airport!
I thought you got methane from waste? can aircraft run on methane?
Obviously I'm wrong in them assumptions:p
This is great news, loonie greens attack the aviation industry at every chance even though aircraft are nearly 100% recyclable and now they can fly on waste!
    Happy days!

If it's avgas they'll be producing then it will be of no use to BA as they run on JetA1. It would be good for GA though...
