Any installers on here that can comment.

I have Sky with old box in sitting room at present.
Wondering what the best option is in terms of getting Sky+ and MAYBE a multiroom subscription. Thinking about Sky+ in Sitting room and getting Multiroom in Bedroom.

Looking at Sky's website it seems a New Sky+HD box with Multiroom would cost 49 + 30 = 79 then 15 pm for multiroom (no point taking out the HD as have CRT).
Would getting multiroom mean I get a "new box"?

Btw How do most installers react to no phone cable to box loaction (I do have a phone line).

you could use your current box in the bedroom and save buying a second box if you like or upgrade to sky + in both locations, its up to you.

Installers can comment on the phone line, but they basically go about running cable to your phone line. You can by a phone line extender which plugs in and works as an alternative to cable.

Look for upgrade to multiroom with a new + box and when installer arrives, just show him that you want the + box where the ordinary one is now. Shouldn't be any hassle

That line extender looks cool, looks like you can only do for one addition point (from what I seen on amazon). I don't think there's too much hassle for me putting in cables.

If you look for multiroom upgrade does that mean you get an addition new (non + box), will they knock anything off price if you use an existing box?
