    With the proviso that BMI isn't very good is you are very muscular, it roughly follows body fat for most people.

    You can use the following

    BF = 1.2(BMI) + 0.23(Age) - 10.8(gender) - 5.4
    Where if you are female use 0 for gender and 1 if a male.

    Next easiest is probably measuring skin folds if you have a calipers?

    That puts me at 25%, my calipers put me closer to 11/12%. Deffo not great if you're carrying muscle, like you said!

    And I'm so happy that I'm still obese per the BMI scale. I scored a 30.6!

    calipers aren't that expensive - apart from that, I would say the most accurate way to measure is just by looking in the mirror

    The mirror can either be your best friend or worst enemy. Under the right light after gym session you look pretty good :) an hour later at home you look like a pile of flop :mad:

    I have been cutting for last two weeks, and have clearly lost weight, my work clothes have gone from a bit tight to very roomy. yet in mirror there is no difference in definition. Think the weight loss is coming from water :(
