Is there any reason you don't want to buy from swimshop.co.uk? I've used them a good bit and they are reliable and very quick with delivery. Buying swim gear in stores can be a bit hit and miss in Ireland, Elverys on Suffolk St might have them but it's worth giving a ring before traipsing into town.

No reason other than I want them asap and I'd idealy like to see them before hand :) .

Yep, I was in Elverys of Suffolk St a week or two ago, all they had were goggles & caps. They didn't even have swimming shorts!

I found TK Max had a good few swimming shorts, different makes etc., all for around 10 euro. Elverys in the Pavillions in Swords had just one make of swimming shorts, but lots of different sizes, at 25 euro each.

Lifestyle Sports or Elverys in the Blanchardstown Centre used to have pullbuoys and kickboards. Haven't checked recently though. I've never seen a snorkel anywhere but then I was never really looking for one so I might have just missed it.

I've seen kickboards for sale in Tesco Clarehall. There's an Elverys there too that stocks swimming shorts, speedos etc.

The pull buoy and kickboard you've picked are pretty standard, I don't thing having a look a them will influence your decision. Another place to look would be the sports section in Arnotts, their stock seems to be very variable but I have seen fins and snorkels in there before.

Please, please don't wear swim shorts. They are going to drag your hips down and make everything twice as difficult. You don''t have to wear brief type togs either, these shorts are perfect.

Try simplyswim.co.uk if you want a decent online shop but you should be able to get the above items with the exception of the swim snorkel if you can get to any of the bigger sports shops

Thanks! I used a combination of www.swimshop.co.uk, http://www.wiggle.co.uk, and good old Ebay!

Wiggle has free delivery which is nice.

I was looking for a cheap and cheerful watch, so I got this from Wiggle http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/swim/9/Breo_Sport_Roam_Watch/5360040288/ , the only problem is that it died after one swim :( . I've seen a few of these wristband type watches about, anyone know if any of them are waterproof?
