Activating Setanta multi room card

I was recently offered a free Setanta sub on a second receiver in my house as I subscribe to Setanta.
I have a Sky Box in my main tv room but use a Dreambox 500s in the other room.
Setanta sent me a new card for the 500s but it must be activated.
Does anyone know if I can activate it in my Sky box or do I need a different Sky box ?

I would get a lend of another sky box. Just incase when sky activate your new card, they will probably Pair it with your box. If this happens with your normal box, it'll unpair your main card and you'll lose movies & sports if you had them.

Do the two Setanta sub cards (and boxes) have to be connected to the phone line?

I am not sure about multiroom but I know the one room Setanta card isn't linked to the boxkey and can be moved from box to box, at least mine is. I would imagine that the DM500 should activate the card fine or any other Sky box.

Yes the Setanta card isnt paired to the box .

I tried activating the card in my Sky box but it didnt work,it keeps saying "This card is not activated "
I rang Setanta up before I tried activating it and the only info they needed was the viewing card.
I know that you could activate multiple blue cards in a single receiver but it looks like the new white cards dont allow that.
Going to have to get a loan of a friends Sky box .:(
