Just thought i'd share that for golfing in the current cold weather I find these to be invaluable, they are light but very effective in keeping body heat in without restricting the swing. They are very breathable too so if the temperature rises you won't sweat as much. Ideal for wearing under a golf shirt also. The only thing I would say is get a size bigger than you would normally wear ie; if you are a large go for XL (at least) as they are sort of body hugging and if too small you could feel like you are wrapped up in a giant condom!! Oh they retail for about 50 Euro but last forever.

Like them as well. Got a couple in McGuirks around Christmas, 2 for E40 I think. Would like to get a couple of short sleeve versions but dont seem to see them around.

    .

the above sounds wrong, anyway i find the wifes all in 1 with the 2 butons at the crotch give that extra snugness.

We had a discussion on them recently here...

I have a couple of Helly Hansen base layers but I think the underarmour mock polo is better for the 'real' cold weather... In fairness, the HH are just crew neck and I'll still use them under a golf shirt later in the season but for now the underarmour is spot on.

I have one from Canterbury and one from North Face. They certainly do their job effectively.

I think the point is that they're supposed to be a 'second skin' and therefore 'body-hugging'. This contributes to the way they warm the body. Going up a size might reduce their effectiveness.
