Cow Horn Handlebars for Bowery Mashup

Thinkin of putting a set of simple bull horn bars on my bowery mashup. I prefer the "on the hood" position to the standard flat bar position. I know I could just get bar-ends, but the current brake levers are rubbish, so would replace them with bar-end levers at the same time, possibly these:

Would those levers work with these bars:

The brakes are designed for 19 - 20.6mm ID aero bars. If not, could someone suggest a solution?

Would I be as well getting some old drop bars and cutting them into shape?

    Any suggestions welcome!

Hi, i have those bars there great. and i f you get drop bars and cut them the brakes wont fit into it as theres no straight section, i also have a bar end brake 100 time better than that one i can sell it to you for round 20? and to be honest thats not the best lever. and are you using one brake on it or two?
oh ye and youll have to drill a hole for the bars as theses brake levers run through the bars its easy if your stuck i can do it for ya!
and i havent even taken that lever out of the pack its by oval

    Thanks for the reply Golfanatic.

I will be using 2 brake levers.

Hadnt thought about having to drill through the new bars for the brake cable.

What exact model is your Oval lever?

You only have to drill the bars if you are using internal cable routing. You can get TT brake levers that route the cables externally, under the bar tape. I have these Tektro RX4.1 myself, you can see the cable goes in just under the clamp and is routed externally. I also have a spare (one) only as the bike I have it on will not take a rear brake.

It looks like these levers would fit the cow-horn bars.

I wouldn't think you could easily adapt 21mm levers to the ~29mm ID of a 31mm cow-horn bar...

my levers fitted in fine to the same bar i have that one sometimes they come with a shim and generally all the bars/levers are pretty much universal
