    Sorry if this is an dumb question but... i am getting sky+ hd installed next week, does the new sky box have a scart connector on the back or can i only use HDMI cable?

    It has both, Scart is now being used for those who do not have a hd ready tv and hdmi for those who do.

    Good,in other words just use the box in scart mode as you would Sky+,you can record to SD DVD.
