I did get a pair of Moccasin-lined slippers for Christmas, but they now smell like dead Hamster. I should know, back in 07 I accidentley starved two hamsters to death. I had to leave the windows open for a week to clear out the odour.

Couldn't agree more. It also helps to have a civilised conversational partner, a spaniel perhaps?

Why would you think I sport nightwear to a supermarket? Do I have my location set as 'Northside Dublin'?

Check this old safety clip out.

She can barely follow the routine, she's that busy thinking about her imminent ride on the hobby horse.

A robe should be only worn with flip-flops and shades. And should be referred to as a robe not a dressing gown.

    Observe: The Dude

Is a robe not for all day use? Unlike a dressing gown that is specific to Morning or Evening time.

Wearing Slippers does not in anyway reduce my masculinity.
If anything, it enhances it by about 27%
