Diabetes and photophobia

So yesterday I got really bad light sensitivity in one eye and by evening I was sitting with a blanket over my head in the dark. After some painkillers I can now look at the dimmed computer monitor with sunglasses (started to clear up by 1am). Does anyone else get these short bursts of photophobia for no apparent reason?

I thought I was coming down with Uveitis again.
