You take off the cowl around the steering column. Should be only 2 or 4 screws. Will most likely be a T15 (torx/star head) iirc. after that the stalk is held on with 1 smaller torx screw I think, possible 2. You could pick up a stalk handy enough in a scrapyard.

If its a comms 2000 (like below) the Airbag/steering wheel will have to come off...
I can send you info on the removal of this if need be...:)

As Row has pointed out if it is a 2003 model it will probably have the comms 2000 all-in-one unit. they are known to give trouble but are not too difficult to replace ( had to change mine on a picasso). I picked up one from a scrapyard for E70 and have had no problems since.

    Hi

I have just found this thread and I am desperate to sort my Berlingo indicator. The car is undriveable at the moment (permanently indicating Left or Right!).

Would it be possible for someone to email details of dealing with the airbag and replacing the comms 2000?

Can I use a comms 2000 from a Picasso for my 2003 Berlingo?

    Thanks

    Peter
