which type quad lnb for sky dish

    hi guys,i ve just got a freesat box,for a bedroom,and read that i would need to replace the single lnb on sky dish 80cm to a quad lnb,dish is 3mths old,which type of quad lnb would i need to get,thanks in advance

    Are you sure its 80cm, sky dishes are normally 60cm.

    No need to be sorry :) You need one that looks like this http://www.labgear.co.uk/images/products/large/72.jpg , the latest models have a slightly different clamp so make sure you get an adapter called a "legacy adapter" so you can use it on either the new or the old sky minidish.

    hi tony my mistake its a quad lnb on the dish already,got mixed up,am i good to go for freesat then.i can t get any freesat channels tuned in,even with satellite cable connected from sky dish quad lnb to freesat box,only getting indian channels,dish is pointed 28 degrees astra,sorry to be pain,totally new to this
