The software will install but when you click on the desktop shortcut a pop comes up saying "cannot open data file". ive tried reinstalling it a few times to no avail, anyone else come across this problem? Have you tried contacting Vodafone data support?

I've actually found them really helpful whenever I've had a problem that i couldn't sort myself?

does the shortcut disappear off the desktop when you uninstall?

try opening from your start menu in case it's a dead link...

Is the data file an xml file?

I'm having this issue with a laptop in work and one of the other techs found that the .net 3.5 service pack 1 is causing the problem. Something to do with the XML parser, I haven't looked in to it much yet but we uninstalled it from add/remove programs and the vodafone software is working again! Have to find out a fix for it as the .net service pack will keep installing and breaking the current vodafone software :/
