Would someone be able to give me an 8 week training plan for intermediate level sprint triathlon? I have looked using google but only got plans that gave the training in times rather than distances. Thanks in advance.

What's wrong with giving the training in times?:confused::confused:

I would prefer to be covering certain distances rather than certain times. I feel like I could run at any pace for times but with distances I would know how to pace myself.

    Here's one here: http://www.halhigdon.com/trifit/trifast.htm
There's also a link in it for a beginners 8 week plan. There in mins as well though. But is you know you typically run 10km in 45 mins or cycle 25km in an hour then you can work out what the distance is!

I'm in the same boat as yourself I have signed up for Try Laois on April 10 - my first ever tri!! Still trying to get rid of a chest infection and hopefullty today the physio will give me the all clear for starting back to my running (Achilles prob). So will give it a lash anyway as a learning process and go from there to further tris during the summer. Good luck with your training.
