    Any idea when it ends? My car wouldn't be eligible until next year so I was wondering if it would still be running then.

    Although I'm not sure I could afford the car repayments anyway on a new car. I think they're limited to 3 years in duration usually.

    Current offer runs until the end of the year.

    You never know it could be extended.

    Some car finance is longer. Fiat have a 5 year plan

    · Provision of measures to cover a Car Scrappage Scheme from 1 January to 31 December 2010; expansion of the existing VRT exemption for Electric Vehicles until 31 December 2012; and expansion of the existing VRT relief scheme (up to €2,500) for Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles until 31 December 2012.

    So runs out on December 31st 2010. You would need to wait until budget day in december to see if it is extended
