    Had my first job interview in flippin ages today. Went really well, but there is lots of competition. i should hear back early next week.

    My first interview in ages was with a "marketing" company... When I found out I would be selling random crap out of a bag, there was no salary and I had to organise my own taxes, I didn't go...

    It's a trainee accountants job (they are few and far between at the moment), took a year of persistence, it's not much more than minimum wage for the first while and I have to move from Dublin, but I'm over the moon!

    Anyone else on the dole, don't despair, keep at it!

    My current job told me id hear "by the end of the week"
    Took them four weeks to get back to me, because head office were trying to sort out the contracts!, so i wouldnt worry about it!#
