I want to get a passport for my daughter because she is 14 i need to get her dad (my ex)to sign it. contacted him and he said yes ,now he says no ,thinks we are trying to skip the country with her though he hasnt seen her for 3 years.I have heard you can get a judge to sign it. does anyone know anything about it?

Yip - you should pop into the local district court office and ask them for an application for a notice of application under the 1964 Guardianship of Infants Act to dispense with the consent of the father.

    they should help you out.

one question though - where you and the child's father married?

    Changes things if you weren't
