Does anybody know how long you should get from 305 HRM battery:confused:

    Where's the best/cheapest place to buy one:confused:

    Thanks. :)

If it's the same as the 405 HRM, around a year. You should be able to pick up a replacement in any super-market or newsagents with a decent selection of batteries. I got my last replacement battery in Dixons or Currys, but it cost me around 5 euro, which I thought was a lot.

And they say about 10hrs between recharging. It still gobbles power when displaying but not timing as the GPS is still active.

Recently replaced mine for the 305 and it had lasted approx 100 hours of usage with the HR monitor....ain't a whole lot really? I only started using the HR monitor a year after I got the 305 so maybe the battery had run down a little anyway just by sitting idle??

Cost me €5 in a jewellers (thats definetly the absolute most you should pay - already a rip off at that). Its a standard type battery, CR2032 button cell, I think if you have a look around in camera shops or jewellers you may get it for much cheaper or maybe packs of 2 or 3 for a fiver.

I replace my battery (on the HRM strap, not the watch unit) once a year, and I get my batteries from here. That's somewhere around 400 hours of usage, I guess. Somehow it always seems to act up when the weather gets colder, and a new battery solves the problem.

Get the battery code and go to eBay. I found it to be way cheaper than anywhere else. I got 3 batteries for 5eruo and the local shop wanted 15 for 1.

My first battery lasted over 2 years.

I bought my 305 in October 2008 and it's still on its first battery - I get about 10 hours use from one charge and I use the 305 on every run. By the looks of it, I'm doing pretty well, I think.
