    Heres the thing, I'm friends with this guy who I happen to like 'in that way'.

    How do you know if they like you back or is just being a friend? Or can you know?

    Please help :(

    Be up front about it and ask. No point in going about it half-arsed. You wont get a proper, full answer that way.

    Hey OP,

    How old are you? I'm not saying that to be condesending it's just that my advice might differ depending on your age. If for instance you're 15/16 and are afraid that he might tell everyone you said you like him etc then I would just tell you to watch out for signs that he likes you and take it from there. If you're 19 or over then I would give you the advice to just ask him out and see what he says, worst that will happen is he'll say no and it'll be a bit uncomfortable for a while.

    if he feels the same and u ask him he'll tell you, if not he will also tell you.

    if he doesn't youll probably find he'll still be friends with you after, mostly when you tell a girl the girls become awkward after, boys tend to take it as a big compliment when a girl comes onto him either which way!

    go for it!
