I've been looking for a bellypan for my GSX1400 for ages but couldn't find one that either didn't envelope half the engine or have a massive pointy chin. I eventually found a nice subtle one online in the states.

I emailed and got the Paypal invoice. At $250 + $60 shipping + taxes etc. it seems pretty expensive for an unfinished fibreglass bellypan, doesn't it? Isn't a 4-6 week wait on top of that a bit Irish, too??

very dear sounding alright - paint on top of that then too

I presume you're on a few owner forums? Could check those for ideas, and advice etc

Skidmarx also do one for the 1400. Not sure if it is in fiberglass or ABS. My ex got one for a SV650 and found quality ok.

I wouldn't pay more than €100 EUR for a belly pan! That price is just crazy... Walk away.

    DON'T GET ONE!
They're horrible looking things, they always look completely out of place

Trust me, I'm not happy about €220 + VAT etc for an unpainted belly pan but this but as someone who normally couldn't agree more with you, you must admit that this one is pretty subtle.

    +1

That's the exact one I want for my CB400, can't find it for a decent price though.

Ok, that one looks ok. Lots of them look like terrible lumps of plastic that don't fit in with the contours of the bike if you know what I mean. Worth spending the money on one that works well.
