    Hi,

Just wondering, Im a student with a grant and I have a part time job. I want to buy a .ie domain name. If I register as a sole trader, will this effect my grant or my paye wages. I wont be making any money from the site its non commercial.

you only need to register a business name to register a .ie http://www.cro.ie/ena/business-registration-name-required-steps.aspx it shouldn't effect anything until you start trading. Check on the cro site to make sure your not conflicting with any company.
