I have an insurance policy with multimaster and they came out to look at a rip on my leather sofa, the rip is where the seem has ripped. In my insurance policy it clearly says separation of seems is covered.

They are refusing to fix it tho is there anything i can do??

I have rang and complained and sent an email but got no reply the insurance cost almost €500 can i demand that back if they fail to do what they should?

    Thanks

the first response of most insurance companies to claims is to reject them for the most frivolous reasons but there is usually an appeals process, otherwise a strongly worded letter to them and also go back to the store you bought the furniture as it may not be fit for its purpose or reasonably durable.
