Laptop power supply repair

Anyone know where I can drop in a power cable to get it repaired? There's a little chink in part of the cable so that it now only works occassionally. I see that buying a new cable is pretty expensive. Presumably repairing it wouldn't be difficult or too pricey! Located in Dublin!
