eFlow - access to NCT database ?

I got a mail from eFlow the other day - this surprised me as I have never been in touch with them an have never given them my email address.

Even more surprising was that they were mailing me in response to a mail from someone else with my real name. So, they matched up his name with my email address and sent the response.

The only place I can think that they might have got my email address is from the NCT or something - I've definitely never been in touch with eFlow as far as I know and I've certainly never gone over the M50 bridge.

So, does anyone know if there is some shared database they are supposed to have access to or whether they picked up my email address from somewhere they shouldn't have.

Have you ever used motor tax online as it takes an email address?
Still shoddy of them to assume that there is only one zagmund!
