All Clocks Stopped

In the middle of having the worst morning ever.

Woke up without any alarms going off (not a good sign - there's a reason I have 7 alarms set on my phone!). Checked my watch - 11:15. Sh!t. Jumped up, realised it wasn't quite bright enough for 11:15 and checked my phone - 6:20. Phew.

Got back into bed. After about 10 minutes I heard movement downstairs. Went to investigate and there's my housemate getting ready to leave for work. Asked why he's leaving so early and he informs me that it's actually 8:30.

By some bizarre coincidence, my watch stopped last night AND my phone reset itself at exactly 2:00am. I'm sure time is toying with me. Making me think I'm late, then very early, then late again.

Just managed to clock in at 8:58. Broke a couple of red lights on my way in, fairly sure I'm parked across 3 disabled spaces on top of an old woman. Just arrived at my desk, panting (ran up the 10 flights of stairs), sweating and looking a bit rough and very tired. Just realising there's something about this day I was meant to remember. Meeting my new managers today at 8:30. Lovely.

    Such a poxy morning.

    It's a conspiracy.

Step 1: Change all the clocks in Ciaran's house.

    Step 2: .......

    Step 3: Profit.

I woke up on Saturday morning, checked my watch. 7.30. Jumped out of bed, realised it was the weekend, rolled back under the covers, delighted. Realise I need a slash. Tip-toe to the bathroom.

    "Hi Daddy!"

    Ah, bollocks.

    Repeat for Sunday.

You probably p*ssed off your housemates by waking them up with your drunken shenanigans at some god-forsaken hour last night/this morning.
So they decided to reset your watch & phone.

    Case closed.

Why are you so worried about being late for work?
    Chill.

I would say there's a possibility of this but I don't drink and I used the weekend to recharge after a very stressful week in work and to prepare for an even more stressful week.

Glad it started out well anyway!

    Chill.

Because there's a massive change underway in here. This week I find out where I'm moving - if I keep my job. Was meant to meet new managers at 8:30 this morning.

It's nearly worse when they leave "nuggets" where they shouldn't be...I think most dog owners will understand. :(

In before the lock "get a blog" request.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
