I thought you couldnt move a card around boxes anymore

    I wanted to watch somthing in the bedroom there so i brought the sky card from downstairs and i was surprised to see the sky card work in the upstairs box and give me my subscription

    i thought sky stopped this.

    no, the white cards can be transfered between boxes excluding , as before, the 'premium' services incl. sky sports and movies.

    I thought this as well. Will it damage the card to do this that is taking it in an out to transfere.

    no, should't cause any problems....... just so long as you keep it dry and dust free and generally dont abuse it............. (maybe not a good idea to put in a jeans back pocket and then sit on it!!)
    it is actually quite a good idea from time to time to remove your viewing card and gently clean it with a soft dry cloth before reinserting it anyway

    I am the same just tried to move it. But wont work. Telling me to phone customer service. No doubt to get box programed.

    Sky Moooovies. Go on tell me its only applies to movies or sports.

    In the 2nd post in this thread it is already stated that skys premium channels (i.e. Sky sports and movies) will not work with sky card in another sky box.
