Summer holidays & Photography

Hi all, just looking for a bit of advice. One of the best things about going to Africa last summer was learning how to use my D60 and having photos to look back on now. Have you been to somewhere on holidays that you felt was a great place to learn your trade in photography? The budget will be tighter this year, probably around 700 for a fortnight or 10 days, so maybe I should be looking closer to Ireland. Any tips or advice on where to go would be welcome!

Are you going by yourself or with your family?

Personally speaking I always go away with my wife and kids, which makes photography hard. You kind of have to take the shot and move on.

It'll be just myself and my wife this time! She's well used to me lagging behind trying to take photos :)
