Bassist and guitarist wanted for alt rock band

    I am a lead singer/guitar player and I have a solid drummer. We are looking for a bassist and guitar player (comfortable with sharing rhythm lead). Backing vocals is desired also. We are based in North Dublin aged 23/24. No timewasters...!

    We have a range of influences: Smashing Pumpkins, Feeder, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Kerbdog, Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, The Libertines, QOTSA... If it is good we like it. You can check out my last band here for an idea www.myspace.com/pristinebliss

    My name is Clive.I seen your ad and was wondering if you are still looking for a bass player?. I checked out your songs and really liked what I heard. All the songs are very well written. Anyway, I've been playing bass for about 13 years now.I mainly played in original bands but more recently I spent two years living in Ibiza playing in a covers band in an Irish bar,playing every night of the week, so I have a fair bit of gigging experience. Im not sure if it makes any difference to you's but by looking at your pictures I reckon I'm the same age as you as well, just incase you think I'm an ould lad or something,haha.

    Hi,
    My name is David, are you still lookin for a guitarist? Ive been playing the last 8 yrs, i can play lead and rhythm. The bands im into are QOTSA, Nirvana, The White Stripes, Mark Lanegan, The Pixies, Them crooked vultures, The Dead Weather, Hendrix to name a few. I have played in a few bands over the last few years and done a few gigs here and there. I have been writing my own stuff the last few years so should have no problem coming up with good ideas. Just turned 30 last week, dont know if your lookin for someone a bit younger, sure let me know. Are you interseted in doing your own stuff or covers? And can you tell me where you are based and where you practice?
