Would you care if you lived in a virtually deserted estate and people used it for parking?
In the case I know of, a lot of the people living there have a huge issue with it - I don't get what their problem is. How does it affect them when there are loads of empty spaces?

Nope wouldn't bother me in the slightest :) My rule is so long as an ambulance or fire brigade can access the road/estate it's all good :)

Maybe they see it as a traffic and security issue. More people passing through the area when they have no self interest to keep it tidy, the roads maintained etc.

i wouldn't like that, because if the other houses were eventually sold, people would continue to park on the side of the road obstructing the whole estate . . .

As baz said. If they didn't block me I wouldn't care.

True. And if someone calls them up on it, it'll be "Sure, we've always parked here".

Also, it depends on who is parking there. I really wouldn't want people like boy racers using it as a place to meet up, with their over-loud sh*tty exhaust pipes waking up everyone.

Wouldn't bother me no. But from a driving point of view, when there are a lot of cars parked on the road it can be annoying having to swerve in and out :/

It's only a real issue if at certain times of the day residents can't park at all because commuters/shoppers have taken all the spaces. People like to park outside their doors if possible, if their space has been taken they often get quite annoyed about having to walk an extra 20 metres or so.

I wouldn't mind as long as it isn't obstructing me at all, and they don't leave rubbish after them. In fact, if it were quite deserted, I would be delighted to be seeing people who could be my potential friends :pac:

Nay. First you let cars outside your house and next it's caravans and then national sport stadiums.

No, as long as I can get a spot.

Wouldn't bother at all. I can imagine in certain type of estates they would make a major issue of it alright..

This actually happens on my estate, doesn't bother me really.

Except one day when some a$$hole blocked like half my driveway and it was hard to get out.

So I wrote ''I love the cock'' on the side of his car.

One the passenger side as well, so there was less chance of him seeing it.

    That'll learn him.

You may have thought you won that round, but it's really not a problem.

I'd only have a problem if someone attempted to park in my back passage.

I don't think blocking your car drive was worth giving him a confession  :D
