Ok this is an odd one. Has me stumped.

Over in my uncles fixing his computer and I have most things sorted except for this one thing that is pissing me off now.

I am perfectly able to access the internet (seeing as I am here) but I installed Chrome to get him away from IE and it wont access the internet. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but nothing.
The computer has net access and as you can see I can get access to the internet without issue but when i use IE. When I use Chrome nothing.

I have installed FireFox and Safari and they work fine. It just seems to be Chrome

    Any thoughts?

Have you added it as an exception to your firewall?

Is it set to use a proxy?

Nope. Nothing strange. Its a wireless network that connects straight to a internet connection (broadband) but there are 2 machines connected and the other one is using Chrome just fine

I mean in the LAN settings on the computer. Make sure "Use a proxy server for your LAN" is unchecked. FF and IE will work with that box checked. Chrome bombs.

Nothing is coming up with the same time stamps as when I load the program... this is very odd
